Celebrate a sophisticated weekend of art, culture, wine, and food at various events throughout the weekend. The Beaufort Food & Wine Festival runs from Friday April 25th through the morning of Sunday the 29th. Take a look at the amazing events offered throughout the weekend.

Wednesday, April 25: Dank Burrito Wine Dinner

The festival kicked off earlier today with a wine luncheon. Later this evening, private home wine dinners will be held. But don’t worry; you can still get in on the action tonight with at the Dank Burrito Wine Dinner. It features a unique laid-back experience and a multi-course meal by Clarke Merrell and Clark Barlow with Sebastiani wines.

Thursday, April 26: Artist Reception & Wine Seminar

The culture continues tomorrow with the Artist Reception and Wine Seminar. Head to the Vision Art Gallery in Morehead City at 1pm to visit with local artist Dottie T. Leatherwood and view her beautiful work on display. There will be wines from Laure Levesque.

Later tomorrow evening, more Private Wine Dinners will be held, as well as public Wine Dinners in local restaurants.

Friday, April 27: Fashion Show Luncheon

Enjoy a lineup of fashion from local retailers while you sip samples from a local winemaker and dine on a multi-course meal by a featured guest chef. The event will run Friday from 11:30 to 2:30 at the Harvey W. Smith Watercraft Center at the North Carolina Maritime Museum.

Friday, April 27: Wine, Bread Cheese & More

After the Fashion Show Luncheon, stay where you are for the next event, which runs from 3 to 5:30 in the same location. Learn more about bread, cheese, and wine pairings as you’re walked through a variety of pairings by a winemaker, a cheese monger, and a bread maker.

Friday, April 27: Grand Reserve Auction & Tasting

Once you’ve had your fill of cheese, it’s time to head over to Front Street Village to experience a sampling of world-classed wines and cuisines! From 6:30 to 8:30, enjoy a night of dancing, music, and socializing with celebrity guest chefs and winemakers or partake in the silent live auction featuring wines, travel excursions, and luxury items.

Saturday, April 28: Vin de Mer Culinary Village

It’s the largest event of the Festival, and you won’t want to miss it! Over 300 wine labels and dozens of local chefs work together to craft an event of pairings, cooking demonstrations, and more! Admission begins at noon and the event runs from 1 to 4pm at Front Street Village.

Saturday, April 28: Historic District Wine Walkabout

From 5:30 to 8, enjoy wine and food pairings in some of Beaufort’s beautiful historic homes. Meet chefs and winemakers at each stop, and enjoy food courses at four stops. Shuttle service will take guests from stop to stop.

Saturday, April 28: Saturday Night Throwdown

Get down and party at the Front Street Village on Saturday night from 7:30 to 10:30. Groove to music by local band Holy Ghost Tent Revival, and enjoy samplings of wine, beer, specialty spirits, and food.

Sunday, April 29: Champagne Celebration Brunch

Close out the event and reflect on a weekend of vibrant arts and culture at the Front Street Village with a multi-course gourmet brunch. Mingle with chefs, enjoy smooth jazz, and don’t miss the famous Pol Roger Champagnes!
